Assistive/Adaptive Technology
The device that I demonstrated was the Partner Two and the Hip Talk Plus. These two devices go hand in hand with one another. Both these devices can be used as a form of communication for those who have trouble expressing their thoughts. As I was doing more research on the internet, I have come to find out that the Partner Two has been discontinued, however, the Hip Talk Plus is readily available and costs an average of about two hundred dollars. The Hip Talk Plus is very neat because it works the same way as the Partner Two but programed into a pouch style. This is very convenient so that not everyone will know that you are wearing a communication device. You can program the Hip Talk Plus to carry up to twelve different expressions. There are three different layovers which consist of three, six and twelve different slots. All you would have to do is record your voice to a particular picture and when you press it, the words will communicate your desire. I personally feel that this communication device is very useful for an individual who is having a difficult time expressing their wants and needs.

Yes Helene, I totally agree with you. Wonderful Assistive Technology Device for non-verbal children with disabilities to communicate their feelings, wants, and needs. I will be implementing GO TALK +9 another series of communication device. I'm looking forward to testing it out just need to take more pictures before I activate the system. Great demonstration.
